Networks of bloggers

I am not talking about blogging networks like Bloggy in this entry. I would like to talk about the networks that bloggers create. There are different topics by each blogger and somehow, fellow bloggers of that same topic interact with one another frequently. As such, it can’t be helped that there are networks that are naturally grown because of that.
It sometimes starts out with one post wherein a heated discussion happens. Or there might be some issues that some bloggers discuss separately on their blogs and they trackback to each other. Sometimes they even end up emailing each other a lot or even meeting up offline. Awesome, isn’t it? Sometimes from these groups of bloggers we end up having new blogs that they collaborate on.
Who says that bloggers are the sterotypical nerds who have nothing to do but just write down their thoughts online? Not anymore. Bloggers party too! Even if there are still concerns on how to cash in on the different topics they write about, blogger meetups could be quite fun as everyone talks about the latest news and also personal stuff like how they are doing. Friendships are formed as people exchange thoughts on SEO, writing and life in general.
There are times when people are, in a sense, competing in writing good content for their topics. Then again, if you have read “The World is Flat” these networks of bloggers seem to encourage coopetition, not just competition. After all, each person still has a different perspective on matters. That is what makes the blogosphere interesting, after all.
