For most bloggers, applying themes and artistic designs to their blog site would take a backseat. The focus on being able to come up with quality content, keywords and interesting topics would be at their foremost minds. However, it should be noted that blog themes and designs play a vital role as well in helping provide the right atmosphere and ambiance to make viewers at home when they start to read the blog entries made by the blogger.

Designs can be anything that a blogger would fancy. The ideal design would usually come in the form of being closely related to the overall theme of a site. Conceptualization and theme set the mood for the blog to be in, which can be in the form of business or lackadaisical but colorful art work. The general theme and presentation will be important since it would really be another means of attracting as far as seeing the expression by a blogger is concerned.
