If there is one thing that probloggers are after, it is that of prestige and upholding the quality of blogs that they would want their readers to continuously patronize once they have been officially posted on their blog site. If there is one thing that differentiates a certified problogger from the unreliable blogger seeking pay for his work.

The level of classifying probloggers from bloggers on the rise may sometimes be hard to distinguish. Practically anyone who has the knack for writing or blogging for that matter can assume the role of a certified problogger who has made such a practice part of their everyday lives.

The only difference though may be in the area of quality and what problogging is all about such as focusing on the most sougt after topics and producing the necessary information and content to adhere towards such demands. Payment for such expertise are secondary for them since it is more about getting the job done as often as possible.

Probloggers have a purpose, and this is to provide pertinent and relevant information catering to various fields of interest as needed by people who seek assistance in the form of available information through blogs over the web. It is easy to blog, but to blog with sense is another thing. People will always read a blog entry closely, but losing the endorsement by visitors will be a telling factor with regards to the overall reliability of probloggers should there be some discrepancies on consistency.

Information consistency and relevance is what is expected from probloggers. Jumbling words to form paragraphs and blog entries is not their immediate tag. Probloggers are expected to deliver authentic and reliable content and this is something that the experts have been doing. Half-baked bloggers are existent in the world and most of them fail to flourish. This is because people have become wiser in easily spotting spoiled content over relevant ones.

I once had a blog that I decided to revamp and change titles. However, that blog is a personal blog so there’s no real problem when it comes to switching titles. So what do you do if you feel like your business blog has gone stale? What if you feel like it needs a revamp?

First of all, what you need to do is go through an evaluation process wherein you should answer the following questions:

Is your blog doing well in terms of traffic and/or revenue generation?

If not ask why but be more specific.

Do you need to do SEO?
Is it the GUI?
Is it the content?
Or is it the entire concept?

After you have pinpointed the areas that should be focused on it is time to get even more detailed. When it comes to SEO and GUI it is a good a idea to call in the experts. Hire an experienced firm to evaluate your site according to their metrics and then ask for a proposal. You need not go with the first firm but see what different service providers have to say.

If it is the content or the entire concept that is lacking it’s time to go back to the drawing board. Rethink your goals and map out a plan to achieve it step by step. Probably one of the mistakes committed was going pro-blogger blindly. You might want to keep your domain name though, unless it already has a stigma attached to it, because you don’t want to waste the readership you’ve already got as well as the domain age (unless you can get an older more reputable domain).

You’re the company’s assigned problogger. It is your job to make sure that your company’s blog succeeds, and it does. So much so that the company blog outranks the company website for the targeted search terms. A really nice dream but note that unless you can explain to your bosses, who might not know anything about search marketing, why this is still good for your company and even beneficial to the company’s main site you just might get in trouble. So how do you explain such a scenario to your boss?

The simple fact is that having a company blog do really well can but nothing but great for your company’s search marketing efforts, unless the company website once ranked better and has been outdone by the blog, resulting in a lower ranking. In this case you will need to adjust to make sure that the company site gets back its position. However, even if it once ranked better than the blog but its ranking is not really that good (not among the top three results) you can be sure that having the blog outrank the company site is still good. Why? Because it having people click on the company blog will still raise awareness of the company and also drive more clients to the company’s main site. This is why it is important that the company blog be well designed. You want to ensure that the link to your company site is prominent and that the blog encourages people to go ahead and take a look at the company site. So as long as the blog is doing its job of helping in brand awareness and traffic generation you need not worry when it comes to convincing the boss that your job well done should actually merit you a raise rather than raised eyebrows.

I am all for blog monetization but when you advertise anything on your blog you should always be careful not to offend Google. In Noemi’s post early this month she explained why bloggers that rely on paid posts for revenue should be very careful about using the “no follow” tag for paid links.

It seems that Google’s policy on paid links indicate that the activity itself is not banned as long as pagerank is not passed for these links. Google takes the issue very seriously so much so that they even manually review sites and blogs they become aware of that may be passing pagerank to paid links. To ensure that you don’t get in any trouble with Google they advice you to simply:

1.	Use the “no follow” tag ; or
2.	Redirecting the links to an intermediate page that is blocked from search engines with a robots.txt file

Remember no paid link is worth getting penalized by Google. If a blog advertiser requires you to pass pagerank on links turn down the offer. Most blog advertisers choose to advertise on blogs not just because their target market coincides with the blog’s niche audience but also because of that blog’s pagerank. If your pagerank drops because of this issue you will lose even more advertisers so say no to that one advertiser and ensure your blog’s future. If you still have paid links with “no follow” tags now is the time to add the tags.

It is important to create good blog posts but topping it all of with a good title is important as well. Remember that in creating a post, the title is the first thing that will be seen by visitors and surely you may want to consider using the blog title as the main bait so that people can continue to read the post in detail.

Keywords are likewise important in posts. A lot of words are being looked up on the web and the chances of using the same keyword in the title on the actual post is sure to be something. One thing you should look out for as well is repeating the keyword of your choice too often. Unless you make a good grammar in constructing the entire post then perhaps you can get more people to read it and understand it.

Remember, keywords being sought are only the tip of the iceberg in blogging. They are looking for these keywords to get more information and useful insights towards them. Keywords are part of optimization but getting the actual information is likewise the main agenda. Though you may not hit it big initially, look after the future as far as getting visitors to come back to our site.

One blog post does make a difference. So make sure you complete it with a good title to go with good content.

As far as blogging is concerned, frequent updates on your blog can put you in better standing as far as SEO and marketability is concerned. People who become regular followers of your blog are bound to be waiting for new updates and don’t be surprised if this was done on a regular basis. Subscribing to feeds and widgets are sure to be their first intent as new posts are what they will be waiting for.

But while posting is a plus, using the right keywords is equally important. Blabbering and typing away what you want without any sense makes the whole ordeal of blogging a useless effort on your end. So while you have a lot of ideas on your mind, organize your thoughts and compose them a way to which you will get the reader’s ire.

Blogs are supposed to be short. Going over 300 words is practically like article writing. It may be hard but the fact of the matter is that this is how you differentiate a blog from an actual article.

Blogging is not hard. You just have to focus on the focal points of the ideas and the message you are trying to deliver. While it seems that it is impossible to do that when you blog, stick to the facts and limit your wordings. Don’t go around the bush and just stress your point. Readers will appreciate you better that way.

Before a person would blog, he would have to consider and take into consideration of the possible readers or target audience that he is catering to. It would be pointless to write or blog about something that would not stir any form of interest from his target readers and may eventually be a blow to his credentials since he is getting out of topic. The focus of concern of most topics would usually depend on the theme of the blog of the person administering it.

So for example, a blog dedicated to business would probably be considered to be getting out of focus if he would blog about something regarding the celebrity and entertainment industry. Unless a blogger is talented enough to maneuver the topic towards being relevant, the blog entry is something that will not be connected in the area of business. But this is perhaps something that a blogger may consider a challenge, being able to manipulate and turn things around to actually make sense!

Blog entries are treasures unlike that of others. To people, they may not be worth the effort but many would be surprised at the enormous amount of blogs and content compositions that they have done after a certain period of time. There is no doubt that storing such entries made will bring back memories and help anyone recall of what they actually wrote and giving insights into various fields of interest such as business and technology.

While some people may not be as passionate as some people do when it comes to safekeeping and treasuring their work, the essence of most blog entries really lies on how they were constructed and how people would continue to rely on these information for guidance in the long end.

Bloggers who feel that they can take on all the tasks handed to them and at the same time entertain other jobs simultaneously is a good sign for commitment and dedication on the part of a problogger. However, a blogger should also know when to measure the amount of workload that he can able to handle. Some would push themselves to the limit, but this may end up sacrificing the expected quality content of blogs that they maintain.

In this time and age, people would want to tackle all opportunities available as long as they can fit in their schedule and daily routine. Blogging may sound easy to most, but the essence of quality must also be considered. The whole blog sense is important since it is what people would always be looking for. Making blog entries simple and understandable is all that matters and probloggers know this all too well.
