You have an online business and you want it to generate income as fast and as efficient as possible. You may think of having your website created using the best applications, where you bring and gather the best things that the internet has to offer. Advanced cart and purchasing systems, reliable and dependent domain hosting services, and eye-catching website designs are a few of things you can add to make your online business go boom, even producing unbelievable results as early as three months. However, this expense and trouble will be of no worth if you have not utilized SEO traffic as a part of your online business plan.
After all, what dictates a venture’s success, whether online or in the real world, is that people would find the business very attractive and have it visited by hundreds, even thousands of people, to buy products and purchase services. Unfortunately, just making an interesting site does not attract people considering that the internet is a very huge place, where everything can be found simple by using search engines. This is the place to start and this is where SEO traffic should be considered.
You will need to asses where the people gather, and how victorious businesses get their customers. Gimmicks such as promos, discounts, and deals will only take effect if a particular online location, teeming with lots of SEO traffic gathers in one or a few places. Consider this factor in creating your next online business, and see how everything falls into place, assuring success in a very short time.

There are different kinds of probloggers. There are those who work from home and blog all day. There are those of you who probably go to some office or something similar so you could focus on writing. And there are those who have day-jobs and set aside time for blogging. If you are one of those bloggers who tend to have a sedentary lifestyle, it’s time to get up and stretch a little!
A sedentary lifestyle is easy to fall into… You might have been sedentary all your life or maybe it’s just that your work has so much become a controlling thing in your life that you don’t have the ability to make sure you are the one who’s in charge of things like your schedule. Tough, isn’t it? And having terrible eating habits doesn’t help either. Maybe you’re having too much coffee in order to boost up your system when you’ve got too many things to write already.
There are different exercises you could do even in the comforts of your home. For starters, do some stretching. You could do that on your chair. Just raise your arms over your head, do several neckrolls, and lift your shoulders every so often.
Another thing you could do is get your water bottle from the cupboard when thirsty. It would make you stand and walk around, even if briefly. This would help a bit in making sure you get to move around.
Walk a little. If you are living near a park, try having lunch there. Bring your packed lunch or maybe a sandwich and a fruit plus your water bottle. It would be easier for you to make sure that you get some exercise if you have a scheduled trip to the park. Make sure your lunch is something healthy so it won’t be useless
These are just several simple tips to jumpstart your healthier lifestyle. Blogging professionally can be fun and it gives you more room for improvement, physically aside from mentally, as writing keeps you sharp.

At times, writer’s block will also affect most bloggers, especially the ones who take on it as a profession. It is only normal. Sometimes nothing really comes into your head particularly in your line of blogging and before you know it, you will be left with nothing to blog or something that really makes no sense.
So where do you get ideas in blogging? Well for one, check out the news. News sites often report something happening and while you don’t have to get them word for word, try to put in your two cents worth. That is blogging, expressing your views and using factual events with the traditional linkbacks when you get excerpts from them.
It is not hard to blog if writer’s block sets in. But you just have to be creative. Ask yourself “Where do I get my ideas?” You would be surprised that at times, most of the things that come into mind really starts from what you see, hear and read on the papers and magazines.
The world is full of news to blog on and it does not have to be restricted to one region alone. World news briefs are one of the hottest issues that any reader would want to read on and adding to that pool of information resource would never hurt. You just have to read a bit, cover facts and then jumble up your words in a way that can entice readers to read your blog post.

So you’ve been looking at hosting a guest post (or two, or even more) in your blog. You’ve probably read about how guest posting can open up new possibilities for your blog and introduce you to a wider audience range as well. These are both true and are both very good reasons to actually have someone publish a guest post in your blog. But how do you go about it? How do you find a guest poster?
Quite obviously, one way to do so would be to write an “ad” in your own blog. Write a post inviting other bloggers to apply to be a guest poster. It goes without saying that you have to craft your post very well and make it clear as to what you want out of your guest poster. Here are some points you might want to highlight:
1. The topic or range of topics that you will be considering.
2. The tone of the post.
3. The length of the post.
4. Formatting and other similar requirements.
Aside from inviting posters through your blog, there are other avenues from which you can look for expert guest posters. This is quite important if your blog focuses on a specific niche and you want to make sure that the blogger you will be hosting is well-versed in the topic. Here are some ideas by which you can find expert guest posters:
1. Magazines: look up the best writers that you like and contact them. This is a very good idea because the chances are that you will be finding authors who are not bloggers. The content will be fresh as well as the perspective.
2. Other blogs or web sites: look for niche blogs or sites and pick out the writers whose work you like.
One last thing – make sure that you are clear as to what you can give the guest bloggers in exchange for writing in your blog.

One of the most rewarding things about blogging is seeing comments (hopefully positive comments) after each post. The great thing about comments is that it does not only make you as a blogger feel good but it also has other positive effects including:
Encouraging readers to read your blog more regularly – However, this is true only if you regularly and speedily reply to comment. If you keep on neglecting your comment section your commenters will end up feeling unappreciated and might not feeling like commenting again. Besides replying to them will encourage them to keep track of your replies and so go back to your blog time and again.
Making your blog more attractive to new readers – You know how a packed restaurant will attract more people than an empty one. That’s because psychologically people think that if there’s many people somewhere then the popularity of the place, in this case a blog, must be for a good reason, hence making them want to also check out the place. Of course, if the place is no good the crowd clears out pretty quick after that and there are no return customers. So encourage a lively comment section but make sure your blog has regular good posts or people will see through your efforts to generate traffic using fake comments.
Networking – You get to meet people with similar interests or in the same industry as you via your comment section. Whether it be for personal reasons or for work you can bet that with regular commenters you will get to meet someone you’ll be glad to have known. A friend of mine found work with the help of his blog. Who knows what valuable people you’ll get to meet in your comment section?

I was browsing the net yesterday when I stumbled on this page:

The ironic thing was that I clicked on a link that was supposed to be giving tips on blogging and contests. I guess the blogger, whose good enough to give tips, didn’t even know the first rule of blogging: Don’t violate rules and if you do, don’t get caught! I mean isn’t that the rule in life?
Anyway this made me think and I realized that I personally haven’t even read WordPress fine print in its entirety. Come on, who has? The fact that no one really reads every site’s Terms and Conditions doesn’t excuse anyone from suffering the consequences when rules are violated. We all know after all that ignorance of the law excuses no one.
So what does this mean? It simply means that we should all get our act together and start reading the fine print. Starting with that of the services we use to create and maintain our blog – from the hosting service to feed readers and search engines. At least read the most important parts, which for me is the privacy part and the responsibilities part, which is where we find the DONTs.
For now here are some of the DONTs listed on WordPress’ Terms and Conditions:
1. infringing on proprietary rights
2. content that contains or installs any viruses, worms, malware, Trojan horses or other harmful or destructive content
3. spam
4. content that is pornographic, libelous or defamatory, contains threats or incites violence towards individuals or entities, and violates the privacy or publicity rights of any third party
5. blog name that misleads your readers into thinking that you are another person or company
