Shorter is Blogging while Longer is Writing

People still have a problem defining blogging. Blogging is not article writing. It is a shorter and free-form way of expressing thoughts and ideas, normally about topics that are in discussion today. Facts may be quoted but majority of a blog entry comes from a different voice which can either be pro and contrary to what has been posted.

These days, we see millions of people blogging, mainly to stress out their views that are certain to gain reactions which we can see through comments. Negative comments may irritating but are actually good. It means that there are people who really do care of the inputs you make and want to correct you while you are at it.

Of course, there are comments that make no sense and while they are things that you can very well do without, the bright side of it all is that you are getting traffic through various mediums like search engines or link referrals.

People mistake blogging as article writing. They look for information but there is a distinct difference between the two. Articles hold facts and are verifiable. Authors of such really make research and stick to the facts. Blogs are like the critiques for topics on hand and while they tend to shift towards going pro-fact at times, it doesn’t mean that a blogger has to make it longer to keep people reading it only to find out in the end that everything is meaningless.
